Today the cases for Coronavirus topped 3,741,276 and so far 258,511 people have died and 1,247,433 have recovered. The U.S. has recorded that the death toll from the coronavirus has passed 70,000 and many Americans remain skeptical and are afraid of the idea of going back to everyday life as the White House even announced that some lives may be lost in the push to reopen the country’s economy. Donald Trump insisted that even though many people are likely going to die, the businesses have to resume their work. China was shut down for almost three months and this paralyzed the economy and many industries and to revive the economy the Chinese officials encouraged the residents to travel domestically. The travel agencies reported a positive result to this and 115 million trips were recorded over the May Day holiday weekend. Chinese travel operators earned $6.74 billion over the five-day holiday and the number of trips surpassed expected totals by nearly 28 percent which is a good start to fight the effects of the pandemic.
