The 100 stocks (BIST 100), the highest 100 stocks in terms of market and trading volume traded in Borsa Istanbul, which made a fast start to the new week, started the day with an increase of 0.27 percent.

In Borsa Istanbul, the index increased by 9.74 points to 3,563.59 points. At the opening, the banking index decreased by 0.03 percent, while the holding index gained 0.21 percent. According to TURKSTAT data, the highest monthly real return was realized in the BIST 100 index with 8.55 percent when discounted by the domestic producer price index (D-PPI) and 10.34 percent when discounted by the consumer price index (CPI). Expert analysts stated that investors acted cautiously ahead of the non-farm employment data to be announced in the US on October 7. They added that equity markets were selling across the world. Emphasizing that the statements of the US Federal Reserve officials will continue to be monitored, analysts noted that technically, 3,950 and 3,900 levels are in support, 4,000 and 4,020 points are in resistance position in the index contract.
