08.05.2020 DOW JONES Daily Analysis

The Dow Jones has been on a bullish rally making gains in two of the past three trading sessions this week and investors are hopeful that the week will end on the same positive note. On Thursday the Dow ended by gaining 211.25 points and closing at 23875.89 The Dow Jones and the broader stock market rose after a Chinese News Agency reported that negotiators of the two countries were working to create favorable conditions for the implementation of a trade deal, a phase one trade deal. This comes as tensions have been rising steadily between the two nations after the US top officials blamed China for it's handling of the Covid-19 situation and threatening tariffs. Investors feel a little sense of comfort knowing that the two nations are still at least working together to achieve something.
