This morning USD/JPY went down with 2.52 from 105.30 to 102.78. This is mainly due to the fact that World Health Organisations (WHO) announced that the cases in coronavirus increased to almost 107.000 as of Sunday. According to Motoi Suzuki who is the head of the infectious Disease Surveillance Center at the National Institute of Infectious Disease, said that Japan coronavirus cases are higher than government reports are indicating nationwide. Japanese finance ministry officials said they are going to discuss the financial markets in the next scheduled meeting because they are seeing nervous moves in the financial markets.
