Social Network Providers which are accessed from Turkey by over 1 million users, failed to fulfill its obligation to identify a representative and inform the Information and Communication Technologies Authority (BTK) by the end of the period.

This penalty can increase up to 90 percent. If the companies notify the representative and pay the penalty within 1 month after the penalty, the penalties will decrease by 1 in 4.
