Facebook has benefited from the United State's democratic presidential candidate's (Biden) spending on campaigns through ads. The mega tech giant has been under attack for supporting political ads, however, Mark Zuckerberg's stance on allowing political ads regardless, seems to be a step in the right direction as they generated about $2.3 million dollars through Biden's campaign. The shares of Facebook were being traded at the price of $178.19 following this news.The white house is to meet Facebook, Alphabet's Google and other tech companies today, to discuss the coronavirus, how to salvage its effects on tech and people's responses from online misinformation. Facebook has already taken down misleading corona-virus advertisements. Investors are looking forward to this meeting to inform their next moves in the market. If the uncertainties and panic reduce, the markets may stabilize to some extent.
