Last week the Dow Jones closed at 24331.32(+2.56%) making gains of 607.63 points and finishing the week with three positive sessions.
This comes despite news that more than 20 million jobs were lost last month. The good news that's been encouraging investors though is the fact that the reopening of the economy is underway and some states have already reopened.
The other indices including Nasdaq and S&P 500 performed equally well giving a broader outlook on where the economy is headed.
Rising oil prices have also contributed to the gains. There still remains the small issue of the Trade war with China though, the uncertainty surrounding this makes investors uneasy because it's a pretty hot time to add more heat to a situation where global economies are already weak as a result of the crisis and can't handle a trade war crisis.
