Since last March the number of U.S. unemployment claims has gone above 30 million last week, and according to the Treasury Secretary Steven Mnuchin warned that the U.S. unemployment rate could already have reached 25% overnight, overthrowing the 14.7% that was recorded in Friday’s official employment release for April.
The USD/NZD is trading at 1.6395, increasing by +0.0082, or +0.01%.
The NZD/USD has been struggling to have a breakthrough above 0.6150 and analysts at the ANZ Bank don't expect a break higher than the highest of today's session for this week either.
