On Wednesday, The U.S. Dollar sparked higher as investors are anticipating a speech U.S. Federal Reserve Chair Jerome Powell. The speech will be at a streaming event held by the Peterson Institute of International Economics as Powell will speak as a guest, a day after U.S. President Donald Trump addressed the U.S. Federal Reserve should adopt negative interest rates.
The USD/NZD is trading at 1.6612, increasing by +0.0173, or +1.05%.
The dollar also went high against the kiwi (NZD/USD) after the Reserve Bank of New Zealand announced a big expansion of its quantitative easing program.
