Having to work from home meant they had to transition to using cloud-based software to be able to collaborate with other employees, and this has been good for MSFT as it has many tools that use cloud-computing plus their latest acquisition of Azure. MSFT`s Skype has seen a surge of up to 70%, and Azure up to 775% in regions enforcing lockdown measures. The demand for cloud-based services has been high. MSFT`s Teams had daily active users of up to 12 million early in March. MSFT signed a deal with the NBA and when the season begins, chances are games will be played in empty arenas for the fans` safety and will be broadcast online and they can use MSFT`s cloud services to do so. Analysts have said that MSFT is doing better than other companies right now with everything that is going on and will continue to do so even after.
