The CEOs of U.S. tech giants including Google, YouTube and Tesla are criticizing President Donald Trump’s decision to suspend H-1B and L1 work visas. Trump said the restrictions, confirmed in an executive order on Monday, will help the U.S. recover from the coronavirus pandemic. The tech firms use visas to bring hire thousands of overseas workers every year. Trump said the executive order had been introduced to help the U.S. economy recover from the coronavirus, adding that it will free up jobs for Americans.
