The German stock market made gains on Tuesday with the Dax 30 closing 1.00% higher and hitting a new monthly high of €11504.65. On Wednesday the stock is trading at 11699.02 as of the time of this article's writing.
These gains were led by stocks from Industrials, Insurance, and Basic Resources sectors.
Deutsche Bank AG stock was by far the best performing stock of the session after rising 8.75% to close at 7.504 while Lufthansa, Germany's National airline Carrier that's been on a winning streak also rose 6.83% and closed at 9.230.
The worst performers of the session were Fresenius Medical care and Merck KGaA which declined 2.64% and 2.34% respectively to close at 74.760 and 103.60 respectively.
The DAX volatility index, which measures the implied volatility of DAX options, was down 3.57% to 30.76 which is a very good sign because lower volatility shows the stability of the market.
