28 August Electricity Production and Consumption Data

28 August electricity production and consumption data were announced. Accordingly, yesterday, on a daily basis in Turkey 928 thousand 782 megawatt hours of electricity produced, 925 thousand 651 megavatsaat consumption occurred. According to data released by Turkey Electricity Transmission Inc, yesterday, the highest electricity consumption on an hourly basis as megawatt-hours at 21:00 was 43 thousand 248, while the lowest consumption was made on 31 thousand 802 megavatsaatl 07:00. While 928 thousand 782 megawatt-hours of electricity was produced on a daily basis yesterday, a consumption of 925 thousand 651 megawatt-hours was recorded. Natural gas power plants ranked first in production with 27.48 percent, followed by dam hydroelectric power plants with 22.85 percent and imported coal power plants with 22.45 percent. In addition, 3 thousand 211 megawatt-hours of electricity import and 6,342 megawatt-hours of electricity were exported yesterday.
