The stock market has been experiencing a lot of volatility lately, but the Nasdaq Composite (NASDAQINDEX: ^ IXIC) has managed to recover in a short time. Today, growth-stock valuations have managed to climb more than 2.5 percent and lift the rest of the market.

Founded in the USA, the company is managed through mercadolibre.com as part of e-commerce and online auctions. As of 2016, Mercado Libre has 174.2 million users in Latin America. Less than a week ago, MercadoLibre's shares fell 30 percent from Catch-Mountain peaks earlier this year. Today, it made a jump to compensate for its losses, gaining about 10 percent.

The Latin American e-commerce company received a vote of confidence from analysts at BTIG on Thursday.

Upgrading the stock from neutral to buy status, analysts set a price target of $ 1,720 per share.

This gave MercadoLibre an additional 10 percent from rising price levels towards the end of the session.

BTIG likes the strategy of MercadoLibre specifically adding a variety of additional services to the mainstream e-commerce market. The Mercado Pago payment network is a hit in its own right, generating a significant amount of traffic outside of the MercadoLibre ecosystem.
