WTI is trading at $17.14 (+13.94%) due to fuel demand starting to pick up as many countries lift lockdown restrictions. Crude oil inventories are starting to show positive numbers, on Wednesday the Energy Information Administration released crude oil inventories for this week. The numbers were better than expected, much lower than the forecast, showing that demand is starting to pick up. The forecast was 10.619M barrels and the actual was 8.991M. However, investors know that it will take some time for there to be a balance between supply and demand.
