The Coronavirus outbreak, which originated in China and spread to many countries, remains on the world agenda. Hand hygiene comes first among the ways of prevention from the outbreak, while the use of a protective medical mask is also among the effective solutions.
As the world's largest mask manufacturer is not producing in China, stocks are melting, the companies producing masks requested from Turkey, have become unable to meet the demand.
30 Million Masks From Turkey To China
Turkish health industry employers ' union (SEIS) Chairman Metin Demir, five of which are large in Turkey, mask producing 10 companies stating that the total monthly production of them in normal periods is 10 million units, he said.
Following the Coronavirus outbreak, companies received intense mask demand from China, Iron reported these businesses to meet the demand for their production to the level of 30 million units announced.
