Aircraft were shut down worldwide in March 2019 after a total of 346 people died in two accidents in Indonesia and Ethiopia. The investigation revealed that the cause was a fault in the flight control system.
EASA made approval of the resumption of operations conditional on modifications to the control system and training of pilots. "They'll get permission to fly again from next week," Ky said.
