A New Rally Expectation in the S&P 500
A new rally Expectation in the S&P 500. Famous investor Byron Wien predicts a new rally in the
S&P 500.
Experienced investor Byron Wien, who prepared the 'surprise list' every year and knew the record rally of the S&P 500 index a year ago, shared his new forecast. According to Byron Wien, Head of the Blackstone Wealth Unit, the S&P 500 index will witness a new rally in the first half of 2021, heading towards 4,500 points after losing about 20 percent.
In a written statement with Blackstone Chief Investment Strategist Joe Zidle, Byron Wien stated that the USA's 2021 growth will exceed 6 percent, which will carry the 10-year bond yield to 2 percent.
Byron Wien, a former Morgan Stanley strategist, had correctly predicted the S&P 500's record rally a year ago. On the other hand, the experienced investor, who has published the "Surprise List" since 1986, wrongly estimated that oil will increase to 70 dollars in 2020 and the 10-year return of the USA will increase to 2.5 percent.
Experienced investor Wien, on the surprise list published this year, along with his prediction for the S&P 500 index, expects that US crude oil will rise to $ 65 and energy bonds and shares will rally.
