The Henley Global Citizenship Report is published by Henley & Partners. The results of the report, which took into account people with a wealth of more than $1 million, resulted in record numbers. According to the results of this year, the top 10 countries with the highest millionaire inflow are the United Arab Emirates, Australia, Singapore, Israel, Switzerland, USA, Portugal, Greece, Canada and New Zealand. In addition, the countries from which the highest dollar millionaires exit were predicted as Russia, China, India, Hong Kong, Ukraine, Brazil, United Kingdom, Mexico, Saudi Arabia and Indonesia. Burak Demirel, Turkey Director of Henley & Partners, evaluating the worldwide millionaire mobility, said, “Although the millionaire migration in 2022 is less than 110 thousand in 2019, the real movement will take place in 2023. A record 125,000 millionaire migration flow is expected next year. Wealthy investors and their families are seriously preparing for the post-COVID-19 world, taking into account the reshaping of the unfinished global order and climate change.” Expressing that there will be a boom in developing economies in the next 10 years, Demirel said, “For example, the number of billionaires in Sri Lanka is expected to increase by 90 percent until 2031. It is estimated that the number of millionaires in India and Mauritius will increase by 80 percent. Compared to these; The number of millionaires in the USA is expected to increase by 20%, while the number of millionaires in France, Germany, Italy and England is expected to increase by 10%. In 2031, the number of millionaires in Turkey is expected to increase by 10 percent.” Drawing attention to the citizenship programs that Turkish citizens are most in demand for, Burak Demirel said, "Turkish citizens can travel to the Schengen region and the UK without a visa with the citizenship they can obtain with an investment amount starting with 100 thousand dollars in the Caribbean. Austria and Montenegro also come to the fore among other European countries where citizenship can be obtained through investment.”
