Action Taken to Shut Down Coinseed
The New York State attorney general has begun proceedings to shut down the application called Coinseed.
Action was taken to shut down Coinseed, which purchased
DOGE with its users balance. The value of the cryptocurrency market is increasing day by day. However, fraud reports started to increase all over the world. Finally, Letitia James, New York State attorney general, took action to shut down the Coinseed application.
Stating that the fraud continued and new evidence was obtained due to the increase in complaints about the application, Attorney General James filed a lawsuit to stop all operations.
They Bought Dogecoin with User Balances
In the complaint files sent to James, it was noted that the exchange purchased DOGE, the token, which broke a record in recent days and ranked 4th in the crypto market, with user balances. A user stated to the prosecutor that, without his knowledge, DOGE worth 31 thousand dollars was converted on his account.
In February, prosecutor James accused
Coinseed of collecting $ 1 million from hidden transaction fees, a low-priced token, and misinformation to customers. The SEC also filed another lawsuit against the exchange for token registration violations. Coinseed CEO Delgerdalai Davaasambuu has not made an official statement on the issue yet.
