Fahrettin Poyraz was dismissed after the general management board meeting of the Central Union of Agricultural Credit Cooperatives.
In the statement made after the meeting, it was decided by a majority of votes to dismiss Mr. Fahrettin Poyraz, who was appointed as the General Manager of the Central Union of Agricultural Credit Cooperatives pursuant to the 5th article of Law No. 1581, from his duty as the general manager, and to appoint Mr. Hüseyin Aydın as the General Manager of the Central Union of Agricultural Credit Cooperatives.
The decision was also reported to the Ankara Trade Registry Office.
Hüseyin Aydın, who was newly appointed, served as the general manager of Halk Bank and Ziraat Bank and was the President of the Banks Association. Aydın resigned from his position at Ziraat Bank in March 2021.
Fahrettin Poyraz, who has been the General Manager of Agricultural Credit Cooperatives since December 2017, was elected as a Bilecik Deputy from the AK Party in the 22nd, 23rd, and 24th terms.
