Alpaslan Çakar Has Been Appointed As The General Manager Of Ziraat Bank

Alpaslan Çakar has been appointed as the General Manager of Ziraat Bank. Hüseyin Aydın has been on duty since 2011.

The Public Banks General Assembly was held. In the statement made after the end of the Board, Hüseyin Aydın, who has been the General Manager of Ziraat Bank since July 15, 2011, left his position to Alpaslan Çakar after the Ordinary General Assembly of the Bank held on March 26. Alpaslan Çakar was the Bank's Executive Vice President of Retail Banking.

Who is Alpaslan Çakar?

Alpaslan Çakar graduated from Ankara University, Faculty of Political Sciences, Department of Public Administration in 1995, and started his career as an Assistant Inspector at Ziraat Bank in 1996. Çakar, who served as Inspector and Branch Manager, served as Regional Chief Manager and Head of Department. Since 2010, he has served as Assistant General Manager in the fields of Retail Banking, Operational Transactions, Distribution Channels Management and Payment Systems. Finally, Alpaslan Çakar, who became Deputy General Manager of Retail Banking in June 2018, became General Manager of Ziraat Bank on March 26, 2021. Çakar also served as the Chairman and Member of the Board of Directors at Ziraat Technology, Ziraat Hayat Emeklilik, Ziraat Insurance, Ziraat GYO, Ziraat Bank International AG and Ziraat Moscow, which are subsidiaries of Ziraat Finance Group. Alpaslan Çakar is married and has four children.
