Another Record from the Stock Market! Another record came from the stock market. BIST 100 index gained 0.93 percent in Borsa Istanbul and completed the day with 1.243.00 points. Thus, the BIST 100 index broke a new record. In the BIST 100 index, which increased by 11.46 points compared to its previous closing, the total transaction volume was recorded as 35.1 billion. At the end of the day, the banking index gained 3.67 percent, while the holding index gained 0.95 percent. Among the industry indices, transportation was the most profitable with 6.93 percent, while the most loss was recorded on communication with 5.17 percent. BIST 100 index, which continues its upward trend that it started yesterday, had the best closing of all time with the reflection of positive news about the Coronavirus (Covid-19) vaccine. Experts stated that the Coronavirus (Covid-19) vaccine, financial stimulus packages and political developments will continue to play a decisive role on the markets. Analysts reminded that the statistics of the balance of payments will be monitored domestically tomorrow and that the data agenda will be followed with the speech of European Central Bank President Christine Lagarde abroad. In technical terms, analysts stated that in the BIST 100 index, the level of 1.250 stands out as resistance, with 1.190 points in the support position.
