FED will remain in pending mode for Thursday's trading.
Stocks on Asian stock exchanges began trading Thursday mostly with gain, as investors focused on unemployment benefits from the US.
Japan stocks started the morning session with a gain, after the period when they were closed for the holiday. Nikkei 225 and Topix indices gained about 2 percent.
The South Korean Kospi Index, which did not pass the transactions the previous day, also followed a positive trend. In Hong Kong, the index increased by more than 1 percent.
After the stock markets in mainland China were closed for a long time due to the holiday, the Shanghai Composite Index showed a slight increase in the transactions that started for the first time since the beginning of May, while the Shenzhen index decreased.
The benchmark index in Australia, which has been affected by the decline of many industries, fell by 0.6 percent.
