Aramco Denied Allegations That It Will Mine Bitcoin

Aramco, one of the world's largest oil companies based in Saudi Arabia, has denied allegations that it will mine Bitcoin.

Saudi Arabian oil company Saudi Aramco made a statement stating that the news that it will start Bitcoin mining is not true. In a statement made by Aramco, following expressions were used; "The news that the company will start Bitcoin mining operations is completely untrue and inconsistent." There were also allegations that Aramco, which is the third largest company in addition to being the world's largest oil company, wanted to sell a small portion of its shares to a multinational consortium.

A similar claim was made for Amazon

Recently, the business newspaper City A.M reported that Amazon, one of the largest companies in the USA, will start accepting Bitcoin payments. However, these claims were soon denied by Amazon.
