Asian stock markets were almost flat and positive. Asian stocks mostly followed a slight positive trend in Wednesday's trading. Asian stocks were mostly positive in Wednesday's trading after US stocks closed the day at record highs. Transactions in Hong Kong were suspended in the morning session due to the typhoon. South Korean stocks compensated for Tuesday's loss in value. In Hong Kong, traders are predicting that the stock market will reopen later Wednesday. Export data released this morning in Japan showed that the decline is still continuing. The overall recession signaled that it was moving away from a strong recovery, albeit less than economists expected.Index Summaries
