Asian stock markets started the day with a rise. Indices in the Asian region increased by finding support from economic data one day before the last trading day of the week.
Japan's Nikkei 225 Index increased 1.15 percent in the morning session, while the Topix Index gained 0.62 percent. The South Korean Kospi Index also increased.
In the mainland of China, the Shanghai Indices increased, while the gain in Hong Kong approached 1 percent.
