Asian stock markets started the new day with a loss. Japan was at the top of the losses in Asian stock markets, which usually started Tuesday with a decline. Losses of over 1 percent in Japan's Nikkei 225 and Topix Indices led the declines in the region. In mainland China, Shanghai Composite and Shenzhen indexes also declined, while Hong Kong's Hang Seng Index declined by 0.19 percent. China kept the main interest rate (LPR) unchanged at 3.85 percent, and the five-year LPR remained unchanged at 4.65 percent. On the other hand, the number of daily coronavirus cases announced in India has seen over 273 thousand. In the statement made by the Ministry of Health of India, it was stated that 1,619 people died in the last 24 hours due to the coronavirus. Thus, the number of people who died due to the epidemic increased to 178,760.
