Asian Stocks Were Mixed
Asian stock markets are following a course under selling pressure in Wednesday's trading.
Asian stocks were mixed. Hong Kong stock market started the day with a slightly positive course, while Australia opened a negative.
The Bank of New Zealand (
RBNZ) left the rate unchanged at 0.25 percent. In the statement made by the bank, it was stated that the necessity for the continuation of monetary easing continues. The New Zealand dollar surged despite support from the central bank and messages that the need for monetary easing continues.
Hong Kong increased its growth forecast for 2021 to 5.5 percent. The Hong Kong stock exchange fell sharply, with the news that the stamp duty would be increased on share transactions.
