Asian stocks were mostly positive after
FED meeting. The Federal Reserve (FED) did not change the federal funding rate after the March meeting of the Federal Open Market Committee (FOMC) in line with the expectations and unanimously kept it constant on the 0-0.25 percent range. Sharing its predictions for the future of the economy, the FED raised its growth and inflation forecasts. It was stated that the screening, with a payment of at least $ 120 billion, will continue at the meeting, and it was noted that financial conditions continue to support the economy in general.
After the
FED meeting, Asian Pacific Stock Markets were positive in transactions on Thursday.
In Japan, the Nikkei 225 Index increased by 1 percent. Gains surpassed 1 percent in the Hong Kong Hnag Seng Index, while gains remained less in mainland China.
Australian stocks diverged negatively.
The interest rate of the Bank of Japan (BOJ) will be monitored tomorrow. According to the news compiled by the Nikkei news agency, the BOJ aims to increase the current long-term bond yield target band from +/- 0.20% to 0.25%.
