Bendevi Palandöken: The Scope of Cash Wage Support Should Be Expanded

Bendevi Palandöken, President of the Confederation of Turkish Tradesmen and Craftsmen (TESK), emphasized that the scope of the occupational groups to be given cash wage support should be expanded, said, "School buses, canteens, stationers, public bus and minibuses drivers and those who work next to them should be included in the scope of cash wage support."
Making his statement in writing,
Palandöken underlined that many sectors were negatively affected by the coronavirus (Covid-19) epidemic. In this context, he pointed out that the scope of occupational groups to be provided with cash wage support should be expanded and said:
"School buses, canteens, stationers, public bus and minibus drivers, and those who work with them, who have not been able to work for a year, should also be included in the scope of cash wage support. On the other hand, the Short Work Allowance, which ended on March 31, should be revived and continued until the end of the epidemic."
