China announced that it banned all transactions related to cryptocurrencies, a statement came from Binance, the world's largest cryptocurrency exchange.
A Binance spokesperson said that the company does not conduct any exchange activities in China, that since 2017 Chinese users have not been able to access the website and their Chinese IPs have also been blocked. Statement said, "We take our compliance obligations very seriously and are committed to complying with local requirements wherever we operate."
Binance was founded in China in July 2017, but soon moved its servers and headquarters abroad.
The statement of the Central Bank of China on Friday continues to make its impact felt today. Huobi, which stopped accepting users in mainland China a few days ago, announced today that the accounts of existing Chinese users will be closed gradually. On the other hand, BHEX, another stock exchange with strong Chinese connections, announced that it will completely cease its operations. Many platforms have also begun to cut off the access of Chinese users.
