Binance Stopped Transactions on 2 Altcoins
Binance has stopped transactions on 2 altcoins. ETH and XLM withdrawals have been suspended due to the large volume.
Binance, the world's largest cryptocurrency exchange, ceased ETH and XLM withdrawals yesterday due to massive volume growth, while XLM reached the highest level since 2018.
Binance has announced technical difficulties with ETH and XLM withdrawals due to the massive increase in volume that triggered problems with users buying their cryptocurrencies from the exchange. While the Binance team stated that the problem is being worked on, these increases in TH and XLM volume are also due to the interest in these altcoin projects, whose price is rising. Yesterday, ETH had surpassed the $ 4,100 level.
According to data shared by CoinMarketCap, the 13th largest cryptocurrency Stellar Lumens (XLM) also surpassed its highest level seen in early January 2018. Cryptocurrency rose more than 30 percent, reaching the level of $ 0.776. In the last 7 days, the altcoin price has gained over 40 percent. As one of the possible factors driving this XLM rise, Stellar has been cited to announce that it has partnered with payment giants Visa, Circle and Tala (a California-based company) to increase cryptocurrency adoption in emerging markets.
