BIST 100 index closed Monday with an increase. BIST 100 index closed the day at 2,088.48 points, gaining 1.69% value.

At the end of the day, the total transaction volume in the BIST 100 index, which increased by 34.63 points compared to the previous close, was recorded as 28.5 billion TL. At the closing, the banking index gained 1.11 percent, while the holding index gained 3.79 percent. Among the sector indices, sports earned the most with 8.78 percent, and the most decline was recorded on mining with 1.98 percent. Analysts reported that the news flow on the Russia-Ukraine war continued to have an impact on asset prices. It was stated that tomorrow, the budget balance in the country, industrial production in China and the Eurozone abroad, ZEW indices in Germany and PPI in the USA will be monitored closely. In technical terms, it was stated that the level of 1.950 in a position of support, and the levels of 2.090 and 2.130 stands out as the resistance for the BIST 100 index.
