BIST 100 Closed The Day With a Decline

BIST 100 closed the day with a decline. BIST 100 index in Borsa Istanbul closed the last trading day of the week at 1.538.44 points, losing 0.46 percent in value. BIST 100 index decreased by 7.16 points compared to the closing on Thursday, while the total trading volume was recorded as 24.5 billion liras. While the banking index decreased by 0.29 percent on the last trading day of the week, the holding index decreased by 0.49 percent. Among the industry indices, mining was the most profitable with 3.92 percent, and transportation was the most declining with 1.39 percent. Next week, the interest rate decision to be announced by the Central Bank of the Republic of Turkey (CBRT) at the Monetary Policy Board meeting will be followed domestically, while the data agenda will be intense, the US Federal Reserve (Fed) meeting, industrial production in the USA, inflation in the Eurozone, especially the Purchasing Managers Index (PMI) to be announced globally will be closely monitored abroad.
