BIST 100 Closed The Day With A Decline
BIST 100 closed the day with a decline. In Borsa Istanbul, the BIST 100 index lost 0.87 percent and ended the day with 1.365.27 points.
At the end of the day, the
BIST 100 index decreased by 11.96 points compared to its previous closing, and the total transaction volume was recorded as 15.5 billion liras.
At the closing, the banking index gained 0.95 percent, while the holding index lost 0.98 percent. While banking was the most profitable among the sector indices, most decline was recorded on financial leasing and factoring with 6.37 percent.
Analysts stated that profit sales in developed country stock markets, variants of the virus began to be effective in children in the coronavirus (Covid-19) epidemic, and the tension between the USA and Russia caused a decrease in risk appetite in global markets.
It is stated that the domestic data agenda is calm tomorrow, while the inflation in the UK will be monitored abroad. It was also stated that country and sector-based dynamics could come to the fore.
In technical terms, analysts stated that the level of 1,440 is in the resistance position and the level of 1,360 is in the support position for the
BIST 100 index.
