BIST 100 Closed The Day With A Decrease

BIST 100 closed the day with a loss. In Borsa Istanbul, the BIST 100 index lost 2.11 percent and finished the day with 1.517.86 points.

BIST 100 closed the day with a decline. At the end of the day, the BIST 100 index decreased by 32.75 points compared to the previous closing, and the total transaction volume was recorded as 39.3 billion liras. At the closing, the banking index lost 1.34 percent, while the holding index fell 2.82 percent. Among the industry indices, transportation was the most profitable with 3.86 percent, while the most decline was recorded as metal goods and machinery with 4.49 percent. Analysts stated that despite the positive news about the stimulus package in the US, the increase in commodity prices and bond yields dissipated the positive atmosphere globally. Indicating that the domestic data agenda seems calm tomorrow, analysts said that in addition to the presentation of US Federal Reserve Chairman Jerome Powell, the data of new housing sales in the USA and growth in Germany will be monitored abroad. On the technical side, analysts stated that 1.570 and 1.582 levels are in resistance and 1.470 level is in support for the BIST 100 index.
