BIST 100 Closed The Day With A Decrease

BIST 100 closed the day with a decrease. In Borsa Istanbul, the BIST 100 index lost 0.19 percent and finished the day with 1,417.89 points.

At the end of the day, the BIST 100 index recorded a 2.71 point decrease compared to the previous closing, and the total transaction volume was recorded as 17.5 billion liras. At the closing, the banking index gained 0.86 percent, while the holding index fell 0.59 percent. Among the sector indices, insurance was the most profitable with 0.92 percent, while the most decline was recorded on leasing and factoring with 3.25 percent. Analysts reminded that the US Federal Reserve meeting will be followed this evening. It was stated that while the weekly money and bank statistics data were followed in the country tomorrow, while the data agenda, especially PPI in the Eurozone and weekly unemployment applications in the USA, will be followed abroad. In technical terms, analysts stated that the range of 1.440 and 1.465 is in the resistance position and the level of 1.390 is in the support position for the BIST 100 index.
