BIST 100 Closed Thursday With Profit

BIST 100 closed Thursday with profit. In Borsa Istanbul, the BIST 100 index gained 0.54 percent and finished the day with 1,427.73 points.

At the end of the day, the BIST 100 index increased by 7.73 points compared to the previous closing, and the total transaction volume was recorded as 19.9 billion liras. At the closing, the banking index gained 1.01 percent, while the holding index gained 0.22 percent. Among the sector indices, mining was the most profitable with 3.95 percent, while the most decline was recorded on financial leasing and factoring with 4.44 percent. BIST 100 index in Borsa Istanbul, which was acting with buyers during the day, closed the day with an increase with the interest rate decision of the CBRT. CBRT Monetary Policy Committee (MPC) kept the one-week repo rate, which is the policy rate, unchanged at 19 percent. Analysts stated that the Treasury cash balance and foreign trade indices will be monitored domestically tomorrow, while the employment report to be announced in the US, industrial production in Germany and the speech of the European Central Bank (ECB) President Christine Lagarde will be followed abroad. In technical terms, analysts stated that in the BIST 100 index, the level of 1,440 is in the resistance position, and the levels of 1,390 and 1,340 are in the support position
