BIST 100 Index Closed The Day With A Decline
BIST 100 index closed the day with a decline. In Borsa Istanbul, the BIST 100 index lost 1.13 percent and finished the day with 1.471.39 points.
At the end of the day, the
BIST 100 index recorded a 16.82 point decrease compared to its previous closing, and the total transaction volume was recorded as 27.5 billion liras.
At the closing, the banking index lost 1.73 percent, while the holding index fell 1.93 percent. Among the sector indices, tourism earned the most with 2.67 percent, while the biggest decline was recorded on leasing and factoring with 3.20 percent.
Analysts stated that the sharp increase in the US '10-year bond yields caused a decrease in global risk appetite and a selling pressure in the stock markets and developing country currencies, which are considered among the relatively risky assets.
Analysts stated that growth and inflation data will be monitored domestically next week, while the US employment report, the Purchasing Managers Index (PMI) to be announced worldwide, the US Federal Reserve (FED) President Jerome Powell's speech will be monitored abroad.
In technical terms, analysts stated that 1.430 is in support position and 1.520 points in resistance position in
BIST 100 index.
