BIST 100 Index Closed The Day With A Decline

BIST 100 index lost value by 1.49 percent in Tuesday's transactions and completed the day at 1,420.59 points.

BIST 100 index closed the day with a decline. In Borsa Istanbul, the BIST 100 index fell by 1.49, closing Tuesday at 1,420.59 points. While the BIST 100 index decreased by 21.47 points compared to the closing on Monday, the total transaction volume was recorded as 19.8 billion liras. While the banking index decreased by 1.67 percent, the holding index fell by 1.79 percent. Among the sector indices, sports were the most profitable with 4.47 percent, while the most decline was recorded on financial leasing and factoring with 5.88 percent. On Wednesday, Spring Meetings of IMF and the World Bank, foreign trade data to be announced in the US, the US Federal Reserve meeting and the Purchasing Managers Index (PMI) to be announced worldwide will be closely monitored.
