BIST 100 Index Closed the Day With a Decrease
BIST 100 index closed the day with a decrease. In Borsa Istanbul, the BIST 100 index lost 0.50 percent and closed the day with 1.527.17 points.
At the end of the day, the
BIST 100 index decreased by 7.73 points compared to the previous closing, and the total transaction volume was recorded as 27.9 billion liras.
At the closing, the banking index lost 1.15 percent, while the holding index lost 0.24 percent. Among the industry indices, mining was the most profitable with 3.74 percent, while banking was the most declining.
Analysts stated that the fiscal stimulus package expected to be launched in the US continues to have an impact on the direction of the markets. The analysts stated that the balance of payments and industrial production index data will be monitored in the country next week, and the US Federal Reserve (Fed) President Jerome Powell's statements abroad, analysts said that the data agenda, especially inflation, will be closely monitored in the USA and China.
Technically speaking, analysts say that 1.550 and 1.570 levels are in resistance for the
BIST 100 index; 1.505 points could stand out as support for possible decreases.
