BIST 100 Index Closed The Day With A Fall
BIST 100 index closed the day with a fall. In Borsa Istanbul, the BIST 100 index lost 1.38 percent and closed the day with 1.394.36 points.
At the end of the day, the
BIST 100 index decreased by 19.51 points compared to the previous closing, and the total transaction volume was recorded as 27.4 billion liras.
At the closing, the banking index lost 2.19 percent, while the holding index lost 0.56 percent. Among the industry indices, mining was the most profitable with 1.93 percent, while the highest decline was recorded on the metal main industry with 3.34 percent.
Analysts stated that the risk of mutation in the coronavirus (Covid-19) epidemic and the re-tightening of measures in parallel with the increase in the number of cases increased the concerns about the recovery in the global economy.
It was stated that the real sector confidence index, capacity utilization rate and sectoral confidence indices data will be domestically followed tomorrow, while the personal income and expenditures in the USA and the consumer confidence index and IFO indices in Germany will be monitored abroad.
In technical terms, analysts noted that the level of 1.465 is in the resistance position and the level of 1.340 is in the support position for the
BIST 100 index.
