BIST 100 Index Closed the Day with Profit

BIST 100 index closes the day with profit. BIST 100 index in Borsa Istanbul increased by 0.20 percent and closed the day with 1.547.11 points.

BIST 100 index closed the day with profit on February 10. At the end of the day, the BIST 100 index increased by 3.06 points compared to the previous closing, and the total transaction volume was recorded as 27.1 billion TL. At the closing, the banking index lost 0.25 percent, while the holding index gained 0.08 percent. Among the sector indices, while the highest gain was in IT with 1.76 percent, the most decline was recorded on leasing and factoring with 1.85 percent. Analysts reported that the financial support package planned to be given in the United States as part of the fight against coronavirus and the speech of the US Federal Reserve (Fed) Chairman Jerome Powell is at the focus of the markets. Indicating that the data agenda in the country looks stable tomorrow, analysts stated that weekly unemployment pension applications will be monitored in the USA. In technical terms, analysts stated that the 1.570 level is in the resistance position and the 1.505 level is in the support position for the BIST 100 index.
