BIST 100 Index Closed The Day With Profit

BIST 100 index closed the day with profit. In Borsa Istanbul, the BIST 100 index gained 1.10 percent and finished the day with 1,345.15 points.

At the end of the day, the BIST 100 index increased by 14.67 points compared to its previous closing, and the total transaction volume was recorded as 14.2 billion liras. At the closing, the banking index gained 0.85 percent, while the holding index gained 0.62 percent. Among the industry indices, tourism earned the most with 7.12 percent, while the highest decline was recorded on sports with 4.42 percent. Analysts stated that tomorrow, the domestic markets will be closed due to April 23 National Sovereignty and Children's Day, the statements of the Governor of the Central Bank of the Republic of Turkey (CBRT) Şahap Kavcıoğlu will be followed, and that the Purchasing Managers Index (PMI) data to be announced worldwide will be closely monitored. The next week, CBRT Inflation Report, real sector confidence index and capacity utilization rate, economic confidence index data will be followed domestically, while it was stated that the intensive data agenda, especially growth in the USA, the interest decision of the Federal Reserve and the Bank of Japan abroad will be followed abroad. In technical terms, analysts stated that the 1.300-1.310 band stands out as support in the BIST 100 index, and a retention above 1.400 points will be sought for the upward trend to gain strength.
