BIST 100 Index Ends The Day With A Decline

BIST 100 index completed Thursday's transactions at 1,416.55 points with a loss of 0.09 percent.

BIST 100 index ends the day with a decline in Borsa Istanbul. The index closed on Thursday at 1,416.55 points with a loss of 0.09 percent. While the BIST 100 index decreased by 1.33 points compared to the previous closing, the total transaction volume was recorded as 15.8 billion liras. While the banking index decreased by 1.09 percent, the holding index gained value by 0.17 percent. Among the industry indices, the food and beverage sector earned the most with 2.10 percent, while the most decline was recorded on transportation with 2.11 percent. Tomorrow (April 9, 2021) the Expectation Survey of the Central Bank of the Republic of Turkey (CBRT) will be followed domestically. While the inflation data in China and industrial production in Germany and the Producer Price Index data in the USA will be closely monitored abroad.
