BIST 100 Index Ends the Day with a Decrease

BIST 100 index ends the day with a decrease. In Borsa Istanbul, the BIST 100 index lost 0.34 percent and closed the day with 1,416.25 points. At the end of the day, the BIST 100 index decreased by 4.90 points compared to its previous closing, and the total transaction volume was recorded as 18.1 billion liras. At the closing, the banking index lost 1.24 percent, while the holding index fell 0.91 percent. Among the sector indices, sports were the most profitable with 5.51 percent, while the most decline was recorded on financial leasing and factoring with 5.55 percent. Analysts stated that tomorrow, the Central Bank of the Republic of Turkey expectation survey will be followed domestically, while the service sector Purchasing Managers Index (PMI) to be announced worldwide, ADP private sector employment in the USA, and the Producer Price Index in the Eurozone will be closely monitored abroad. In technical terms, analysts stated that in the BIST 100 index, the level of 1.440 stands out as resistance and the level of 1.340 stands out as support.
