BIST 100 Index Ends The Week With An Increase

BIST 100 index ends the week with an increase. In Borsa Istanbul, the BIST 100 index gained 0.14 percent and finished the day with 1,451.84 points.

At the end of the day, the total transaction volume in the BIST 100 index, which increased by 2.02 points compared to its previous closing, was recorded as 15.4 billion liras. While the banking index lost its value by 0.91 at the closing, the holding index gained 0.68 percent. Chemical, petroleum, plastic was the most profitable 1.70 percent among the sector indices, while the highest decline was recorded on banking. Analysts stated that the BIST 100 index rose in line with the buying trend in Sinai index stocks. According to the data released today, the manufacturing industry Purchasing Managers Index (PMI) in the US rose by 1 percentage point to 61.5 in May, and the service sector PMI rose 5.4 points to 70.1, reaching an all-time high. It was stated that an intensive data agenda, especially the domestic capacity utilization rate and growth in the USA and Germany, will be followed next week. In technical terms, analysts stated that in the BIST 100 index, the level of 1.470 stand out as resistance and the level of 1.390 stands out as support.
