BIST 100 index in Borsa Istanbul took place at 118.792.40 points by rising 0.26 percent at the opening. At the opening, the BIST 100 index increased by 307.16 points and 0.26 percent to 118.792.40 points. Banking index increased by 0.13 percent and holding index increased by 0.24 percent. The sector that made the highest earnings in the sector indices was the sports sector with 1.72 percent, and the transportation sector was the 0.35 percent that did not make a single profit. BIST 100 index in Borsa Istanbul closed the previous day by 2.36 percent and closed at 118,485.24 points. Analysts said that news flow and second wave concerns about Covid-19 pandemics are still on the agenda worldwide, and that the recently announced positive data and expectations that monetary and financial supports will continue also support the risk appetite. Analysts who stated that the data flow was calm at home today and that the JOLTS vacant job data in the USA will be followed, noted that technically, BIST 100 index has 119,400 points of resistance and 116,000 points are supported.
