BIST 100 Index Started Friday With A Decline
BIST 100 index started Friday with a decline. BIST 100 index lost 0.26 percent in Borsa Istanbul and started the day with 1.404.10 points.
At the beginning of the day, the
BIST 100 index, which lost 3.66 points and 0.26 percent compared to its previous closing, fell to 1.404.10 points.
While the banking index lost its value by 0.63 percent at the opening, the holding index also lost its value by 0.24 percent. Among the industry indices, electricity was the most profitable with 0.75 percent, while the most decline was recorded on sports with 3.19 percent.
On Thursday, the BIST 100 index in
Borsa Istanbul ended the day at 1,407.76 points, with a 0.10 percent depreciation, despite the ongoing purchases of bank stocks, as other stocks were not included in the rise.
Analysts stated that the positive data on economic activity and the US 10-year bond interest rate below 1.6 percent support the share markets on a global basis, while the increasing tension between the USA and Russia caused regional divergences.
It was stated that the domestic short-term foreign debt statistics and the housing price index will be followed today, while the inflation in the Eurozone and the consumer confidence index of the University of Michigan in the USA will be closely monitored abroad.
On the technical side, analysts stated that in the BIST 100 index, 1,440 points are in the resistance position, while 1,390 and 1,360 levels are in the support position.
